Being A Woman Is A Gift
The knowledge of Ayurveda honours and embraces the unique nature of being female. The belief in Ayurveda is that women are the pivot for creating positive change and healing in our world. Ayurveda teaches us that the woman is the most important part of the family and community and needs to be cared for accordingly.
As women in todays culture we have become detached from how our body works. We’ve lost connection with our intuitive nature that is our guidance system for self-care and nurturing.
This has led to greater levels of infertility, menstrual disorders including endometriosis, polycystic ovaries, fibroids, painful periods and amenorrhea and menopause symptoms such as hot flushes, weight gain and mood swings that have become “normal”.
Self-Healing Through Self-Care
Ayurveda has guided women for thousands and thousands of years in self-care practices that create and maintain mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health - just as they’re meant to be.
Ayurveda believes that women can enjoy their lives with optimum energy, fulfilment and happiness. This is important not only for each individual woman, but to support women in their role in contributing to the health of our world.
